About
Jefferson Long is a writer and photographer working with 35mm and medium format film. His photographic work focuses on architecture and natural landscapes, approached with a precise attention to structure, surface, and light.Working with vintage cameras, he develops his negatives by hand using a Caffenol-based process.Born in Germany, Long studied English Literature and Media. He has worked with Sabine Kacunko and Joachim Storch. His practice is guided by an interest in perception, spatial order, and the relationship between image and time.
